Hi, I’m Krishna Kaliannan.

After being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, I realized how difficult it was to find snacks that truly worked for my lifestyle. I saw a gap in the market for delicious food options that met my needs.

That’s why I created Catalina Crunch™ — to make delicious cereals and snacks with less sugar, while providing positive nutrition through protein and fiber.

Today, with an expanded portfolio of products, Catalina Snacks™ continues to deliver uncompromised taste and quality in every bite, helping people live a better life.

The Story Behind the Crunch

2017 — The Crunch Experiment Begins

In my NYC apartment kitchen, I started baking low-carb cereal just for myself — experimenting, testing, and perfecting every batch.

2018 — The Dark Chocolate Debut

My first creation was Catalina Crunch Dark Chocolate Cereal, which officially launched on https://us-catalinacrunch.shop/.

2020 — Cinnamon Toast Goes Big

Catalina Crunch Cinnamon Toast became a fan favorite and earned a spot at Costco.

2021 — Flavor Explosion

Following the initial launch, we expanded our lineup to include:

  • Eight cereal flavors
  • Four cookie flavors
  • Four snack mix flavors

2021 — Bigger, Bolder, Crunchier

As demand grew, we expanded operations into a larger facility, allowing us to continue creating more delicious snacks for our customers.

2023 — Chocolate Cookie Bars Launch

Taking indulgence to the next level, we introduced our Chocolate Cookie Bars in three delicious flavors:

  • Raspberry
  • Mint
  • Peanut Butter

Sea Salt Caramel followed in 2024.

2024 — Xtreme Cheddar Takes the Spotlight

Our Xtreme Cheddar Snack Mix launched and was recognized as the “#1 Best September Find Right Now.”
